Some call it pollution. We call it life.

A number of my readers have shallowly suggested that this ad is a spoof. But you can be quite certain that it's very real and very serious. I'm proud that my company helped pay for its productions costs.

My truck is pumping out a lot of "life" right now, idling in my driveway. I think I'll leave it on a little longer and forward this piece to some others.

There can be too much of a good thing you know.

"Some call it polution. We call it life." That is hilarious.

Familyman, I think most doctors would disagree with you.

If you're concerned about people getting too much of a good thing, then did you ever wonder why we give sick people 100% oxygen when they're in the hospital? Some might call that "pollution", but I'm betting that the patients call it "life."

If some extra oxygen can be life-giving, why not some extra CO2?

Yeah, but what if they were given 500% oxygen? That might be too much of a good thing.

Now that I think of it though, is that even possible?

The most significant danger with high concentrations of oxygen is combustion.

And the solution to that problem?

A carbon dioxide fire extinguisher.

They may call it pollution. But we call it a fire extinguisher. And fire extinguishers save lives. So, yes, as our ad says, we call it "life."

Good point, Mr. Clemens!

Scientists have been saying that global warming is causing all those wildfires!

I guess they're going to have to eat their words on that one--CO2 is fire *extinguisher,* not a fire *starter*! Duh!
